Back in the 1800s, you knew Christmas was coming when The Plum Pudding was made! Plum pudding is a mixture of steamed pudding with raisins, spices and currants. It was served as early as Medieval England on Christmas Day and is also known as “Christmas Pudding.” The name Plum pudding may be deceiving because there are no actual plums in the pudding. Plums were a name used for raisins back in the Victorian Era.
